Irish Field of Flowers Wrap

This piece was inspired by the never ending floral designs of the many counties in Ireland. Represented are the Rose of Sharon, The Rose of Cork, the floral design from the county of Killarney, as well as leaves and shamrocks to complete the presentation.

The mesh background allows the flowers to shine. Originally Irish Lace flowers were worked in white, but flowers come in so many pretty colors that I decided to present them in their real colors.

The background is worked in American Super Luster cotton and the floral designs are made from DMC embroidery cotton.
