This 7 piece set was created for a special exhibition at the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I always loved the notion of teddy bears playing together and decided to create mamma bear and baby bear having a wonderful outing in the park. Mamma bear is dressed in her lace sweater and baby bear in his blue vest. They brought their favorite blanket to a bench in the park and are getting ready to play with baby bear’s ball. It is actually a rattle made to look like a football! Mamma bear loves to kick off her shoes while sitting on the antique wood and metal crafted bench.

  • Mamma Bear and Baby Bears  are made from Lion Brand washable cotton chenille in variable shades of blueberry, watermelon and cream.
  • They are stuffed with soft poly-fill.
  • Mamma Bear is wearing a pink thread lace sweater with an antique button.
  • Mamma Bear is 20″ tall
  • She has matching sandals have a 4″ long sole.
  • Baby Bear is wearing his blue star stitch vest and carries his 5″ x 8″ football, which is actually a rattle!
  • Baby Bear is 15″ tall
  • They sit on their 24″ x 27″ washable Caron acrylic blanket in shades of blueberry, watermelon and cream.
